The automatic visitor counter is a circuit that does the task of controlling the lights and counting number of visitors while entering the room. The process of the project can be in an easy format. So, this type is mainly used in the colleges, schools and working industries. The working of the project is very easy and quick way. The main aim of the project is to use less consumption of electricity and to get easy count about how many persons are entering into the room. Here in this we have used the Arduino UNO board, IR sensors and LCD display screen. There is a wide range of scope in the future purpose where instead of taking attendance to the student through manually we can fix the face recognition camera to the bidirectional visitor counter so that it will count the students and take the attendance. The main objective of this project is to save the electricity and to count the number of persons in the room. This is very cheaper and eco-friendly device. But this is the case where we can control the lights and fans of the room as well as we can also count how many persons are entering into the room and also shows how many are exiting the room. Automatic room light and fan controls are mostly implemented in theaters and shopping malls. ![]()
